What proportion of the pollution produced world wide is produced by driving automobiles i.e. not that associated with their manufacture, as a percentage of the total amount of pollution produced worldwide. I would like a worldwide figure and if possible I would like this broken down into: 1. The proportion of CO2 produced. 2. The amound of SOx NOx produced. 3. Any other pollutants such as lead, benzene, large particulates. Thank you. |

I've heard told that the *greatest* (and most noxious) source of atmospheric pollution is actually aircraft. If we ground the airplanes, we greatly improve the atmosphere. |
