I have an access database (html.mdb) that holds web pages. It has 2 main columns: HTMLID (an autonumber field;ie the record ID#) and HTMLText (a memo field). I have my HTML pages in a directory "HTML pages" and the pages have names such as index.htm, page1.htm,... news.htm, ...page1000.htm How can I populate the access database with the text from these files so that each record contains the htm text data from one and only one of the htm files in the directory "HTML pages". I can do it manually, but is there an algorithm/macro or other utility to do so? The import should be of just the ascii information contained in each of the files (ie, not an OLE import). |
