I am attempting to obtain the source of a quote attributed to
Aristotle; who, supposedly, have said something like: "Regardless of
the the type of occupation you plan to pursue; it is important that
your eduation be, first, in mathematics".

Can one get/find the source of the above statement (if indeed Aristotle said so)?

Aristotle was not known for an emphasis on mathematics:

"Clearly Aristotle had a thorough grasp of elementary mathematics and
believed mathematics to have great importance as one of three
theoretical sciences. However, it is fair to say that he did not agree
with Plato, who elevated mathematics to such a prominent place of
study that there was little room for the range of sciences studied by
Aristotle. The other two theoretical sciences, Aristotle claimed, were
(using modern terminology) philosophy and theoretical physics."

However, Aristotle's Mentor, Plato, is associated with a famous quote
related to mathematics. Plato's Academy in Athens is said to have had
a sign over its door that said "Let no man ignorant of geometry
enter." Could that be the quote you're seeking?
