Hi everyone!!  I'm looking for info on a Puerto Rica artist named Jaime Suarez.
He went to school with my father, so he's got to be in his late 50's. 
I've found very little info on-line on him....i've already done a
general search, but wonder if there's more info out there i just don't
know how to find.  I know he had an exibit at the MET last year, but
can't find any info on prices on his pieces.  I have a piece of his so
i'm trying to get an estimate on price.  I have already gotten one
quote - from a gallery in PR named Botellos (so no need to contact
them).

So...what i would like is:

**Info on the artist....
**prices his work has sold for....
**Estimate of cost for: (4ft by 1 1/2ft - bought in 1973/74 - it
weighs about 50lbs)

of makes me mad, because i was actually in Manhattan last
September....i wish i'd known.

September that will feature work by Saurez?

You have to scroll down to the artists.
I would expect that at that time there will be some articles about him
and his works, and possibly galleries may be taking the opportunity
the present works by him for sale  - and maybe now looking for items
to include.

But how to find galleries specializing in such works?

Sorry about that.  Darned sites that don't include a year!  There are
too many of them.
But maybe a search of newspapers for the period would turn up something.
