Trying to find a source where I can buy Releve Pet Stain and Odor Remover. I have a bottle in front of me and haven't been able to find it anywhere. On the back it says copyright VMx Pet Products Corp, Secaucus NJ 07094 and St. Thomas, Ontario N5P 3W7, Canada. | |

Hello smatterchoo, Although the customer service person on my call to Hartz Mountain claimed that their acquisition of VMx was proprietary company information and could not be confirmed or disclosed, a lead from another GA researcher (thank you!) showed that by doing a whois, the following information is available: Domain Name: VMX.COM Registrant: Hartz Mountain Corp (VMX-DOM) 400 Plaza Drive Secaucus, NJ 07094 So we now know that Hartz Mountain is the registered owner of the VMx website and can extrapolate that they have acquired the company. The customer service rep at Hartz Mountain also did claim that the Hartz Mountain Pet Stain and Odor Remover was a reformulation of the Releve product and I strongly suspect that that explanation might have been in anticipation of a possible dissatisfaction with the Releve product and her attempt to divert a potential complaint. That being said, we know that Releve is no longer and the Hartz product is either identical and repackaged, or has been improved, at least in the opinion of the folks at Hartz Mountain. I strongly suspect that if you were satisified with the results you obtained from Releve, you will be equally happy with the Hartz product. Regards, -=clouseau-ga=- |

All I found was old registration information for their flea extermination product. A couple of sources still seemed to sell it, but no evidence of stain and odor remover. Wish I could have helped! |

As the owner of an ill kitty who can't always control himself, I have had great success with a product called Nature's Miracle. I've used it in the washing machine, spot treated rugs, and poured it on mattresses, without a hint of smell afterwards. It's sold at Petco and Petsmart that I know of, probably other places as well. |

For cats, the best product I have found is OdorMute, although I have not used Nature's Miracle. (I also once used OdorMute to successfully treat a car, after a gallon of milk was accidentally left in the back seat in the summer, and erupted.) Like Nature's Miracle, OdorMute is enzyme-based, but comes in powder form. Nature's Miracle: http://www.ferretstore.com/nm-001.html OdorMute: http://shop.petmarket.com/odormute.html |

I called Hartz Mountain this morning and they were a little sketchy. They would not tell me if they acquired VMx. What they did say is that the product has undergone a reformulation since it was sold by VMx and that their product ( as noted and linked above) is VERY similar. -=clouseau-ga=- |

Check Ebay. Someone was selling a Releve product there. Item No. 2046299228. Good luck. |
