I am looking for an anthropological documentary that was made at least
three years ago. I only know of one scene out of the film. We see 2
people of a clearly primitive tribe eating. They are talking about a
group of other tribes-men that are also eating. Says one to the other:
" Did you invite these people?" No! " But they are eating our food."
The only other thing I know is that there are missionaries in the film
that want to vaccinate people against measles. The film could have
been made on Sumatra or Papua. But it could also be a South American
tribe. I am sorry to say that I need my answer before the end of July.

Could you be thinking of "Warriors of the Amazon" (a BBC/PBS production from 1996)?

The version that aired on PBS featured a feast involving two opposing
tribes. Here's a transcript...

Does this seem like the film that you remember?

No, I am sorry this is not the film. The tribes-men and maybe women,
are quite surprised that there is somebody else that they didn't
invite, eating their food. And this is an organised 'party' between
tribes.
Best regards! And I hope you are able to locate the film! Kist33
