hi, i am looking to buy a plams TV. however, i know that the prices
get lower and lower each day. this is particularly true for older
models. as new models come out, the old models are sold for less and
less.

my questions:
1) when (month, year) does Panasonic plan on introducing the next new
model of plasma TVs for consumers? the latest model is the Panasonic
TH-42PX50U.
2) when a new model is introduced, based on past history, what have
been the price decline of the older model(s)?
3) when it the best time (month/year) to purchase a plasma TV?

your responses to these questions will help me to balance when i
desire to have a new plasma TV versus how much i have to pay for one.
i just don't want to get ripped off to quickly by spending $3000 on a
TV and then realizing that just a month around the corner, a newer
model is out and the one i just purchased is now sold for $2400.

btw, i am particularly interested in the Panasonic TH-42PX50U. so any
responses related to Panasonic plasmas would be extra helpful.
