I'm an independent IT consultant (making $50/hourly for roughly
$100,000 a year). I have consulted the past year just for a single
large company (in Massachusetts), and they are shortly going to cut
off my work (due to lack of work on their part). Do I get
unemployment compensation despite being an hourly worker? Thanks.

On the company's payroll, are you classified as an employee or as an
independent contractor?
