Is it possible to get an autographed baseball from Jimmy Pearsol that
would say, "Happy 70th Birthday, David... Jimmy Pearsol"? I need it
by July 20th. Thank you very much. |

I believe that you're asking about Jimmy Piersall, a famous former
Cleveland Indian. Mr. Piersall is still alive and living in Arizona:

Do you want a researcher to try to contact an agent of Mr. Piersall
and try to arrange this?

Thank you very much for your quick response. Yes, I meant Jimmy
Piersall, the famous baseball player--he first played for The Boston
Red Sox. And, yes, I would like an agent to contact Mr. Piersall to
arrange for a signing of a baseball to read, "Happy 70th Birthday,
David... Jimmy Piersall".
Thank you very much. Irwin

I?ve done many baseball questions and sometimes players have a
foundation or other organization set up in their names, but there?s no
indication that this is the case with Mr. Piersall:
Google Answers
"Contact info for retired baseball players" (Omnivorous-GA, Oct. 1, 2002)

So, I?m going to suggest contacting the Public Relations office of the
Red Sox, headed by Glenn Geffner, and making the request to them.
It?s more personal and will likely get you a response more quickly:

The team and it?s employees can be reached at:
