Hi! Thanks for a new question. Please take note of the important disclaimer below that the answer here is general information only and is not a substitute for informed professional legal advice. Circular 66 of the US Copyright Office provides the following instructions on how to copyright a website or other types of online works. You must submit the following items: ?1. A properly completed and signed application form? ?2. Appropriate deposit material? ?3. A nonrefundable filing fee for each application in the form of a check or money order payable to Register of Copyrights? Based on the information you gave, I think you have to submit the following: 1. Form TX: Download here - http://www.copyright.gov/forms/formtxi.pdf 2. You can submit a deposit of your work in the following manner: a. Submit a version of your website in a computer disk b. or reproduce your entire work like a print out. In this case no computer disk is required. 3. Pay a Filing Fee of $30 You should send these things at the following address: Library of Congress Copyright Office 101 Independence Avenue, S.E. Washington, D.C. 20559-6000 Just to make sure, read Circular 66 so you can determine more accurately what types of forms and the appropriate fees you will need to pay. You can read Circular 66 and know more about the details of each of the three items on the following link: ?Circular: Copyright Registration for Online Works? http://www.copyright.gov/circs/circ66.html In case you would need to download other forms and get information about current fees please visit the following links: Forms http://www.copyright.gov/forms/ Current Fees http://www.copyright.gov/docs/fees.html Search strategy used: Searched at the website of the US Copyright Office I hope these links would help you in your research. Before rating this answer, please ask for a clarification if you have a question or if you would need further information. Regards, Easterangel-ga Google Answers Researcher |
