Hi! Thanks for the interesting question.

The status and trends of world Christian population depends according
to different organizations is around the 30% to 33% range or one-third
of the world’s living inhabitants.

In 1992 the World Almanac report shows that 33% of the world
population is Christian.

During the year 2000 According to the Mission Frontiers.org and the
World Christian Encyclopedia, Christians still make up 33% of the
world’s population.

The World Evangelization Research Center also says that Christians

The next article also shows that there is 33% share of Christians in
world population but also mentions other very interesting figures as
well.

“Almost two billion Christians live on every continent. They comprise
the majority of people living in the United States and Canada (86%),
Latin America (92%), Europe (76%) and Australia (85%). Christianity is
also the most prevalent faith in Africa (48%). Christianity is a
dominant force on every continent but Asia (9%). Most of the world's
population is in Asia, so only one-third of the world's population is
Christian.”

“About half of the world's Christian population is Roman Catholic.”
