I don't know why GA doesn't hire more researchers. Since GA evolved, a
lot of the original researchers are no longer around......

My 2 cents...

Thanks Steph. I wholeheartedly agree.

If the gates are ever opened to new GARs, it is my sincere hope that
Bowler will be first through the door. There are many worthy
Commenters on GA, but Bowler is, IMHO, the best, and I'd like to have
him on my team.

Steve, wouldn't many of us!?
But I have discovered that to supply adequately (superiorly)
documented answers the way GA-Researchers do is a lot of work - or
that they are extremely better at it than I am - not to mention the
qualities of tact and empathy and written expression.

Personally, I think GA does occasionally admit new Researchers, and
like everyone else, I am very curious how they choose them, insisting
that they take a new user name to hide their tracks (my suposition).
I expect that they take recommendations from existing Researchers,
since I cannot imagine that GA has anyone else better aware of whom
could qualify.

When I asked a few days ago why no new researchers were thought to be
needed, pointing out the very large number of unanswered questions,
the editors removed my Question (saving me the listing fee) and gave
me the reply that researchers were added on an as-needed basis.

Thanks, guys.

How I would love this to have been an Answer so that I could give it
NO STARS for total avoidance of the question!

Why your question hasn't been removed too, I can't imagine. Ditto the
question about cheapskates.

Perhaps someone can work it out.
