The Bible does not tell us whether or not Satan has this power.

A couple things here...

satan is likely a result of a thought to begin with, really ? what isn't ?

second, the native americans took the land from those who had it before them.

third, whatever if of the mind is temporary, so, ultimately ? relax,
don't worry about it, and whatever you do, don't go getting involved
in some thought from your mind of living eternally in a mortal image,
you're just asking for a double bind to show up in your life.

fourth, satan, tigger, a wild roaming rhinocerous who has
trans-species telepathy, whoever, can read read read, I might be
more worried if that wild roaming hippopotomous, oh wait, did I say
hippo or rhino, oh, no big deal, it's only language, but, I'd be more
worred perhaps that the roaming giraffe could write my mind... In
fact, can satan write to ones mind to post a question on google.com
that asks if satan can read ones mind for $3, AND - do so that the
person posting the question has complete disagreance that satan is
indeed doing this ?

I believe not. Genuine full mind-reading is presented like a divine
attribute in Psalm 139.

I understand 1 Corinthians 2:11 to say mindreading is impossible for
other beings than God; even though that's not the subject of the
passage.

OTOH there's nothing to stop Satan observing you from the outside.
And anyone observing you might be able to guess something about your thoughts.
I should think Satan is an above-average psychologist.

Hence the link from pinkfreud-ga looks good to me; always assuming
that the person in question is not willingly cooperating with Satan -
which seems to have happened a few times (especially with Judas
Iscariot).

That depends on each particular thought. Thoughts of god or reflection
on beauty of the world; thoughts about courage, compassion, euphoria
and contentment and pertaining to your duties are a part of God
similarly to how parts of your body are a part of you. Thoughts of
dissent, anger, lust and greed are a part of Satan in the same manner.
They are not your thoughts. Satan could read them but there isn't
really any need to do that because they are already his thoughts.
Thoughts that are not fitting in either categories are considered to
be satan's thoughts because take your mind off reflection on beauty of
God's creation.

It is a good idea to try to introspect your thoughts as often as
possible to tell which ones come directly from god and which directly
from satan, and to disregard the latter. This is fairly difficult to
do, therefore it requires some discipline and strong intent. For
example, I do not always have enough discipline and I go along with
satan's thoughts.

Good luck. (Even though success in this case does not depend on luck at all.)

Jesus knew people's thoughts (Mt. 9:4; 12:25; Mark 2:8; Luke 6:8;
11:17) and God certainly knows people's thoughts (Gen. 6:5, Ps. 139,
etc.). But nowhere are we told Satan or demons know people's thoughts.
If Satan knew our thoughts then why would Jesus have spoken to him
during the temptation, and why would Satan have asked him questions if
he already knew the answers?

In Daniel 2:27-28 Daniel says to Nebuchadnnezzar that NO ONE speaking
by ANY POWER *** EXCEPT GOD **** could tell the king what he dreamed.
So the answer to your question is NO, Satan can influence our thoughts
and actions but he cannot read our minds.

I'd be interested to know if this answers your question.
