Hello dennisj2,
"In Black And White: The Life Of Sammy Davis, Jr.," by Wil Haygood, states:
"Back on American shores in 1960, Sammy ... began a Los Angeles
engagement at the Huntington Hartford theatre."
Outside one of the performances, a group of Nazis picketed. Despite
the trouble, Sammy gave his performance. The Los Angeles Mirror
reported the incident -- presumably the following day, since it was
quite newsworthy -- on 10-26-60. So it appears that this performance
took place on October 25, 1960.

Another book, without citation, states: "On October 26 [1960], ...
Sammy opened a one-man show at L.A.'s Huntington Hartford Theater."

Perhaps this source treated the date of reportage as the date of the
performance. (Note also that this source says "Theater" rather than
the apparently correct "Theatre.") I believe, based on the source in
my initial answer, that the date of performance was October 25, 1960.
