What's the best time of year to visit Destin Florida?

The advice I've found suggests that spring (April and May) and fall
(October --or once hurricane season ends -- and November) are the best
times to visit Destin.  Spring seems best for weather, while fall
seems best for price, though both seasons appear to have these
advantages to some extent.
