If I own a rental property and it is not listed with any realtor, can I pay a referral fee to someone, not a realtor, that knows a buyer for the property and refers that buyer to me to sell the property. | |

YES! It is a good idea to pay a referral fee. Typically a referral fee isn't a large amount like a realtor will charge. Please fee free to email me with any further questions. I recommend 1% of the selling price. For example if you sell your home for $300,000 then give your friend $3,000.00 as a BIG thank you for saving you $15,000 that you would have paid a realtor. Best of luck!!! |
