Thankfully my dear Mom is a devoted collector of this art, and I have some background in finding them since I broke a few as a young man and had to replace them before she returned. The signatures on the bottom are LLadro Artists, A. Ruiz and C. Luillery. The item #2016 is a limited edition (1 of 750) Girl With Guitar. Here is a link to an image and some more information about the actual statue in question. http://www.aretiredcollection.com/product.cfm?itemID=16096 From a website forum discussing rare lladro figurines we find more confirmation linking the signatures to the model number. More Gifts LLadro Noticeboard www.more-gifts.co.uk http://www.more-gifts.co.uk/cgi-bin/lladronotice.cgi?display=25 "I'm trying to get some idea of the valuation of a piece I have. Girl sitting in a tree playing a mandolin or lute, quite large. Bought from Spain in the 60s. Marks on base LLADRO Handmade in Spain No 590 A Ruiz and signature that looks like C a Luillery." If you need more information about this item please just ask for clarification. Google Search Terms Used: "Lladro 2106" "Lladro Retired" Lladro "Girl With Guitar" Mother911-ga |
