I fax a 1 page document(always 1 page) to a phone number (always the
same phone number) at various points throughout the day. Sometimes I
have 5 or 6 of these 1 page documents. Is there a fax machine that
can be programmed to send each page as a separate transmission to the
same phone number? If so, I'll be able to place the entire stack on
the machine and walk away instead of standing there faxing them one at
a time.

Would an email to fax service which allows you to schedule the time
and date of sends work for this situation?

It is always a one page physical document but that document is
different each time.
Things that are the same each time: number of pages (always 1, always
a physical document, and always needs to be faxed to the same number.
THings that are different each time: the actual picture/words on the document.

I don't think email is an option because it is an actual physical
document that prints out on a printer. When it prints out, someone has
to fax it. If I could have that person walk over to the fax machine
once "10" documents accumulated, they could place the stack on the fax
machine and the fax machine would send each document individually.
Yes that means we dial the number 10 times but its a long story as to
why we have to do it that way. If the fax machine could somehow be
programmed to know each document is a separate "job".

Does that make sense?

the first thing I thought of doing was what you suggested in terms of
eliminatng steps. However, the one page document prints from a code
that can only be interpreted by this specific mainframe-output
printer. Therefore, since the mainframe-output printer is from 1988
and can not be interfaced with a device capable of doing as you
suggest, I'm stuck with pursuing this type of soluton. the link you
provided should help! thanks alot...

Instead of printing the document and faxing the document you just
printed, why not buy a USB fax/printer/copier/scanner device?

Then you can just 'print to fax' and eliminate a step or two in the process.

I remember a model of Brother fax (3800) that can do batch transmits
with delayed time. You normally scan it into memory and then tell the
machine when the send the fax. You could store up to 50 documents.
The only thing is that someone will have to "send" 10 times at one
time.

Manual link( page 72 - delayed fax and page 73 - batch transmit):

If you want more choices I can dig around.
