I would like to purchase a martingale-style (aka French martingale,
greyhound-style or limited-choke) training collar, specifically one
that is both adjustable and equipped with a D-ring for the attachment
of identification tags. The martingale portion of the collar--the
portion to which the leash is attached--must be chain link, instead of
the more common nylon (or other fabric). This specific arrangement is
sometimes called a French martingale collar or French choke collar,
and it has the advantage of a quick release after physical correction
and also provides an aural correction without the discomfort posed by
a standard choke collar. I know of two companies which made or make
these collars, RC Pet and Coastal Pet Supply (the latter's product
does not have a D-ring attachment), but I have had a great deal of
difficulty actually locating a reputable retailer, and my eBay (US,
UK, Canada, NZ, Australia, France) searches have been fruitless--lots
of homemade junk (none with the chain component), and lots of
martingale bridles for horses. My Google searches have turned up lots
of sites peddling...Google Answers links. Yay.

The dog for whom this collar is destined is a 100-lb. Labrador
Retriever, and has a neck circumference (including slip room) of
approximately 17" (sometimes larger--much like the husband, the dog
tends to eat whatever crosses his path, thus resulting in an increase
in neck size.) The dog and the remainder of our family reside in the
Kirkland, Washington area.

Please provide a link (preferably) and/or a phone number for a retail
seller. I consider a "reputable" online retailer to be one with a
listed phone number and SOME kind of address. An answer providing a
link to an online retail seller with all of the above who accepts
PayPal would earn my eternal gratitude. plus the requisite five stars.

I suspect this question is underpriced but I quite honestly can't
afford more, please accept my apologies in advance.

Kindest Regards,

Jennifer
