I would like to find a web site where i can enter a telephone number
(without an area code), and the results would display where in the
United States that phone number appears, together with corresponding
area codes.

You enter the Prefix (first three digits after area code) and it lists
all of the matches to that prefix, you just search for the area
depending on the area code
