I'm looking for a DVD distributor for a lowbudget independent film
that looks like a large budget film. We are currentley in post and
finishing up on the edit, sound and music. The film should be done by
end of July and fully polished by September 15th. I placed this ad on
pro.imdb.com it can give you an idea of the project.

My name is Andrew Bowles I wrote and produced a low budget digital
cinema movie last summer. We had a great cast of unknowns, great
story, and the film is looking amazing thanks to our amazing editor. I
made the whole movie for about $8,000 and it looks like a million
bucks. We have a helicopter opening shot with credits multiple highly
valuable locations. It's my first film to write, produce and act in. I
have helped make movies out in Hollywood in the past but this is the
first at this level. I want to try and get a good sound track, great
sound design, and a good composer. I've tried to get them for free but
no dice so far. Everybody either lives in LA or some other far off
city or wants money. I live in Dallas. The Movie is "A Texas Tale".
When we first start to make it I sold Producer credits along with a
percentage of the film if and when it makes money. Well it looks like
it will, I'm just trying to make sure I'll have it done by the
Sundance Film Festival's deadline.
A Texas Tale

A Texas Tale
Written by Andrew Bowles

A Texas Tale is kind of a blue collar spy movie with characters that
are based on the stereotypical way people of the world imagine Texans.
The story is of the personal life of Johnny Roads a newly famous good
ole boy who rescued a young boy from the line of fire in a hideous
assignation of a DEA informant. The story starts off with him and his
best friend Daniel Days having a falling out. The story skips to a
month later as they begin to put their differences in the past.
Through their conversation of catching up on all the events that have
happened to each of them since they last spoke fills us in on the back
story. At the same time the present is running its course. Through out
the story you are introduced to Johnny's and Daniel's friendship,
life, and history. You find that Johnny has found a way to work as a
type of government operative. As story progresses you learn that
nothing is what it seems in Johnny's world and that things come full
circle in a small town. Honestly to explain it in short would be to
rob it of makes it A Texas Tale.
