Question ID: 539609
is there any software that will automatically produce screencaps from
a DVD, so that I don't have to keep clicking the "capture" button in
my DVD player every frame?

To clarify, I might have a 5-minute range in a DVD where I'd
effectively like to produce screencaps (preferably jpegs, but I can
probably live with any reasonable format--gif, bmp, png, ...) from
every frame (or one per second, or...). I'm interested in anything
that will help automate this process, so that I don't have to advance
a frame in the DVD player, click "capture" to cap it, advance another
frame, click "capture", etc.

Thanks!!

Dear Plt,

Have you tried PowerDVD?

Hi PoliticalGuru,

Yes, I use PowerDVD, actually. I've never found any feature in it
that supports automatic capping--just the manual capping. But perhaps
I'm not using the same version you mean--which version do you believe
has the automatic capping feature?
