Every time I press the Y key on my keyboard, the NUMBER LOCK feature is toggled on or off. It also happens with the number '5-key' & the number '7- key'. Can someone please tell me how to stop this from happening. It is very annoying. |

Whenever my keyboard goes wonky (which happens often), I just replace it. Keyboards are so cheap these days that they really aren't worth troubleshooting. |

I have never done this, but I've heard that sometimes those little keyboard vacuum cleaners can suck out stuff that may be causing keyboard problems. |

Try cleaning the key labeled 'Fn' if you have one. A broken or stuck Fn key might be the problem. |
