Every time I press the Y key on my keyboard, the NUMBER LOCK feature
is toggled on or off. It also happens with the number '5-key' & the
number '7- key'. Can someone please tell me how to stop this from
happening. It is very
annoying.

Whenever my keyboard goes wonky (which happens often), I just replace
it. Keyboards are so cheap these days that they really aren't worth
troubleshooting.

I have never done this, but I've heard that sometimes those little
keyboard vacuum cleaners can suck out stuff that may be causing
keyboard problems.

Try cleaning the key labeled 'Fn' if you have one. A broken or stuck
Fn key might be the problem.
