Hi I'am Matt, I run a Joinery shop and we have a job coming up useing
brass/timber/glass for large sliding doors. The brass angle we are
using to the outside of the sash is 76x76x6mm and mitring it at the
corners. I need to find out the best method for joining the brass (380
alloy). I have found out so far that you can not weld brass 380 alloy,
but you can silver solder it or solid braze it. The problem with solid
brazing is the intense heat which can distort the brass. Can you find
out the correct silver soldering and flux or a better alternative?
regards
matt
