I would recommend Touchtel (http://airtel-broadband.com/), BSNL/VSNL (http://www.tataindicombroadband.com/) in Gurgaon. They are both stable and provide good access speed. However, if you are looking for a cable connection, I would recommend Hathway(http://www.hathway.com/bci/intro.htm). You will need to see if they are available in your specific location in Gurgaon. Technically you are located in Haryana, as such some providers available in New Delhi, Delhi will not be available in Gurgaon, Haryana. Connection Speeds: If you want good connection speeds here is the best measure, 128kbps = you will get 10kbps downloads at best 252kbps = you will get 23kbps downloads at best 512kbps = you will get 40-45kbps downloads at best 1024kbps = you will get 80-93kbps downloads at best If you require faster connection, I recommend you talk to the provider to provide you a "dedicated bandwidth" to "Singapore/off-India node". Then you can get global broadband speed. |

Sify in Gurgaon has bought by Iquara Broadband and doesn't give good service at all. I'd recommend to go with Airtel, if available. Could you tell me why you would like to go with cable and not DSL? Also, tell me your area to answer your question better. Thanks, |
