I am looking for advice on starting my own social network. It would be
a network focusing on martial arts. I know the industry well, so I
have lots of ideas and resources to market the site. My questions are;
1. What would be the estimated costs of building a custom site with
ecommerce ability and social networking. Start up & hosting fees.  I
think I could have a few thousand members fairly quick.
2. Please give me a list of contacts/web designeers who could build
the site. 3 minumum.
3. Is it best to use a company like alstrasoft which has a template?
or have a designer build it from the ground up. If you think this is a
better idea please list 2-3 companies other than Sparta and
alstrasoft.
