In an April 2005 issue of the Baltimore Business Journal
(http://www.bizjournals.com/baltimore/stories/2005/04/11/story5.html),
there was news of a lawsuit filed by Travelhost Magazine against a
former associate publisher for breach of a non-compete clause.

The article goes on the say that there was a lawsuit filed by several
former local associate publishers of Travelhost in other states:

"Barton, along with other former associate publishers from nine other
states, filed a separate lawsuit in Dallas County District Court
earlier this year against Travelhost, alleging the publisher mislead
local franchises, court documents show."

I would like to find out the outcome of this suit, and also find out
how to get transcripts of proceedings, if possible.

Thank you,

Sherman Leibow

1. Try contacting the author to see if any follow up articles are
planned. The author may have more current information.

2. There are two different lawsuits pending. One is pending in Texas
the and the website for the court is: http://www.dallascourts.com/.
The other lawsuit is pending in Maryland and the website for that
court is: http://www.clerk-anne-arundel.net/, You might be able to
get some information by contact the court.

3. If a lawsuit has transcripts, you can usually contact the court
report at the courthouse and purchase a copy,
