I want to buy an IBM, Think Pad TransNote P3. Tiger Direct sold them
but now they don't list them. I want to pay about $600-$700. I also
want to get an external floppy, external CD and 128 Meg of RAM. Where
can I buy all this at one place?

$700 would be an impressive price for the TransNote. The cheapest
price that I have found them for is $1,150 (when the shipping price is
added in).

The TransNote is still a relatively new model, a little over one year
old.

Also, if you are interested in having your notes digitally transcribed
using digital ink, you may want to hold out until November 2002 for
the launch of the TabletPC from many vendors. It will feature a new
version of Windows XP for Tablets. (Some manufacturers have already
started shipping their TabletPC without the new version of Windows XP,
such as Fujitsu and PaceBlade.)

Need to look a little more. I bought my
IBM THINKPAD, TRANSNOTE for $999 from Tiger
Direct in February. When it arrived in March,
the price was at $799. I even saw since then
someone selling it for $699.

I went to Tiger Direct and now they don't list. it.

I know it retailed at $1,800 in the beginning.
