I interested in research on the Mens Underwear Market in the US over
the past 5 years (2000,2001,2002,2003,2004+) including
dollar sales, total units, market share(Fruit, Hanes, Jockey, etc),
product breakdown (boxers, briefs, boxer briefs, etc) and any other
data you may be able to find.

Thanks Bobbie7-ga but I am interested in the actual data. I know the
data is produced by many groups including Mintel, NPD and Infomart at
prices ranging from $175 to $7,500. I was hoping someone may be able
to reference items including the data that have been published online.
Thanks

helpmeplease1234,

I located a report that might be of your interest.

Title : The US Men's Underwear Market 2003
Published : Dec 2003

Description :

"This report covers the U.S. men's underwear market, including boxer
shorts, briefs, boxer briefs, undershirts, and insulated underwear. In
recent years, the growth of the U.S. apparel market in general has
been slowed by several factors, most notably shifts in retail channel
market share and consumer attitudes towards apparel purchasing. The
men's underwear market has not escaped these forces, and certain
aspects of the category pose complex problems for retailers and
manufacturers. For many consumers--particularly men--underwear isn't a
fashion statement. Hidden by other clothing, it can be difficult for
brands to build a distinct identity. While brand loyalty in the sector
is high, this loyalty seems to be built around issues of perceived
comfort and value rather than fashion and status."
