What I want to know right away is the phone number of the county or
state agency that my sister's lawyer has contacted, so that I can see
what paperwork there is, ie. if there are depositions I can have a
look at. I have been talking to her, and what she is saying is pretty
far from what I've experienced around her. It looks like she might be
lying to win Mom's conservatorship.

She wants to move into my Mom's home and move my Mom into a rest home.
She's been trying to do this for years, and it might almost time for
Mom to be in a home, which makes it all the more annoying.

In any case, she is not telling me anything, including the name of her lawyer.

If there is a conservatorship proceedig pending, you might be able to
get some information on the status of the case by visiting the L.A.
County Court's website at http://www.lasuperiorcourt.org/

If you can't get the information online, you can at least get the case
number and the address for the court where the proceedings are
pending. The file is public information and can be reviewed by you or
your attorney.
