What is the name of the girl who appears at the end of every AAMI TV
advertisment (the smiling telephone operator)? The ad has been playing
on Sydney FTA TV heavily at least all of this year and I think she
also appears on some of their logos.

Hi suhima,

The girl in the AAMI television ads and on the logo is called "Georgia
Tiepperman", and she is registered with the VisionsMCP Modelling &
Casting Agency.

You can see a picture of her on the VisionsMCP website:

http://www.visionsmcp.com.au/photo_gallery_f.asp?page=5
(see top left)

A Google Image search for [ AAMI +girl ] lead me to the AAMI logo on
the homepage of the VisionsMCP website. I trawled through all the
female models in the Photo Gallery section, but as I was not sure if
Georgia was the right person I emailed VisionMCP to verify. They
confirmed that it was Georgia, and said her hair was cut and dyed for
the advertisement.

Here are the agency's contact details:

VISIONSMCP Pty Ltd
PO Box 7388

fax: 1300 78 6344
mobile: 0418 590 618

I hope this helps!

Hello suhima-ga,

The new "Amy" is discussed in this AAMI press release, but they don't
mention her name.

MEDIA RELEASE
20 June 2004
AAMI launches renewed advertising imagery
http://www.aami.com.au/about_aami_insurance/aami_news_centre/pdf/press_releases/press_release_renewed_advertising_media_180604.pdf
?We began our search approximately 12 months ago and considered
approximately 200 local and overseas candidates. We needed to find
someone who conveyed a friendly, approachable and credible presence ?
those being the same attributes we want customers to associate with
the AAMI brand.

?Also, it was important that the successful candidate was not
well-known, as she had to be unique to AAMI, without strong
association to any other brands. Also, she had to be someone who would
appeal to people of all ages, taking into account AAMI?s broad target
market.

?The new Amy is Victorian and in her mid-20s, and was found to have
all the right qualities to help lead the AAMI brand forward.

?She will make her first public appearance in our advertising when we
launch AAMI Flexi-Premiums? nationally in June."

You may consider contacting the public relations person listed at the
bottom of the page, or perhaps one of the other researchers can come
up with her name.
