Quite-a-many. You have to involve all American counties and major cities, to include the volunteer versions. This is an impossible Question. Count all the counties in all the states, multiply by fifty, then add the major cities and other non-Federal quantities plus the Federal. Thinking about it, someone actually might come up with a reasonable number. |

I recently read an article that stated 10% of all American ERs have closed since 1993. Hope that helps. Ed. |
