Check out the reports available on the Alameda County Public Health
Department website.

The 174-page full report called Oakland Health Profile 2004 will give
you a tremendous amount of information about anything and everything
that could make Oakland "dangerous." You can look at sections that
interest you if you don't want to download the whole document.
