I recently had ionithermie algae-detox treatment on a cruise. In order
to have this treatment, I was asked to sign a waiver that it could
cause a miscarriage if you were pregnant.  I just got home to find out
that I became pregnant during the same time I had the treatment done. 
I need to know if there is any information on the effects on this
treatment on pregnancy?

I don't know if you have found an answer yet, but I can give you some
information.  (I perform these treatments for a doctor's office.) 
What part of your body was treated?  If it did NOT include the
abdomen, I wouldn't worry.  If you did - I can't imagine that it would
have done any harm.  But to be sure, I would contact the distributor

WERE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND EXTREMELY NICE.  I HAD MY CALL RETURNED
WITHIN 15 MINUTES.  JUST IN CASE ANYONE ELSE HAS THIS CONCERN, HERE IS
THE INFORMATION THEY GAVE ME.
THE ONLY EFFECTS THAT THIS TREATMENT MAY HAVE ON PREGNANCY IS THAT THE
TWO TYPES OF STIMULATION GIVEN DURING THIS TREATMENT WOULD MOST LIKELY
PREVENT PREGNANCY. IN OTHER WORDS, ANYONE TRYING TO GET PREGNANT
SHOULD AVOID ANY KIND OF STIMULATION OF THIS OR ANY OTHER TYPE. THUS
SINCE I WAS ABLE TO CONCEIVE REGARDLESS OF THE TREATMENT, MY PREGNANCY
SHOULD HAVE NO NEGATIVE EFFECTS.  IN FACT THE REPRESENTATIVE I SPOKE
TO, SAID SHE WAS SIX MONTHS PREGNANT AND HAD HAD SEVERAL TREATMENTS
EARLY ON IN HER PREGNANCY BEFORE KNOWING SHE WAS PREGNANT.  AND SHE
HAD NO PROBLEMS.  I ALSO GAVE MY OBGYN THE INFORMATION ON THE
TEATMENT.  HE ALSO INFORMED ME THAT THERE WAS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. 
I AM NOW THREE MONTHS PREGNANT AND EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE GOING
SMOOTHLY.
AND YES, IT WAS A GREAT CRUISE!!!!!!! I BROUGHT HOME QUITE A MOMENTO!!!!
