How much might a fairly minor but recognizable name get paid for a
role?  Someone like say the star of an old tv series or a stalwart
british actor like derek jacobi or malcolm mcdowell.  recent figures
please--for a minor film if possible

In other words what is the minimum amount a producer might expect to
pay in order to have an actor that might add some value to his
production from name recognition--even if it was a minor part that
took a single day to shoot.
