I am an Indian Diploma Nurse, I would like to know what are the basic
needs for migrations like minimum qualifications and procedures for
migration to these countries, I visited many of the official sites but
about the minimum qualification details are not clear. What are the
living conditions of these countries Pro Vs Cons on cost of living and
climate? Or in these counties which are the best area to live
considering not very cool climate.

The confusion came because one of the migration agent told us that Aus
is stopped taking Diploma Nurses and only takes BSC Nurses, Mine is
RNRM, which is the quite common 3 year diploma course in India and
most of the nurses in and out of India is holding that only.

Hi Mr. Warrier,

You can visit DIMIA website or http://www.immi.gov.au.
You need to take the IELTS test (For details visit
http://www.ielts.org). If you have a nursing diploma, you may qualify
for the Points Test, which would help you score 60 points and you need
to have a degree other than that. For further details, you need to
find the Australian Embassy in Mumbai, Chennai or in your local area
for details. Please download Booklet 6 from DIMIA website, which is in
PDF format for free for more details. Thank you.

Sharmila

Dear Mr. Warrier,

As far as the weather goes, Melbourne is quite good. It is not very
cold in winters. The winter lasts about 8 months. The cons are that
you would not get servants there like in India. A servant would charge
on an hourly basis. Also, the other cons are that you would have to
help yourself everywhere. You would need a car to go around, but I do
not know the exact costs of living. It varies from area to area and
from state to state.

These are the conditions for migration to Australia for nurses. You
would need work-experience for migrating there. I do not know about
Canada or Uk.

Regards,

Sharmila

Thanks Sharmila, I have been in that sites, but I have added my main
concern as an additional info. I will try to check with Aus Embassy in
UAE also.

It was really a quick response, Thanks a lot...
