Hello phoenixrising,

Fortunately, there are many online sources for royalty free artwork;
some are totally free, while others charge a nominal fee. Some good
choices include the following:

?	Gimp Savoy Photo Archive, which
has more than 27,000 photos and images for free

?	DHD Multimedia Gallery, has both
images and sounds for free

?	Free Foto, has 69807 images, which
are free for private use.

?	Free Photographs, also has a large
selection of royalty free graphics

?	Free Tock Photos, has a good selection of
free photos, plus links to other free photo websites

?	Image After, has a variety of free photos
and textures available.

?	The Morgue File, has a large free photo archive

?	Pics for Learning, has copyright free
images in a variety of subject areas.

?	The Smithsonian,
also has a large database of images that are free for personal,
non-commercial use

?	Copyright Free Photo Library,
is another good resource

?	I would also check out Wikapedia?s public domain photo sources at

?	Foto Search, has
a very nice collection of royalty free images, available for a variety
of fees

?	Imagine, has what they call ?the world?s
largest royalty free collection? of images?950,000 total?available for
a fee

For audio, try the following resources:

?	AKM Music,, which offers royalty
free/copyright free music for a fee

?	Acoustica, has a variety of free
sound effects

?	Koumis, also offers free sound effects

?	Ljudo, has
about 1,200 free sound effects

?	Partners in Rhyme, has royalty free
music for a fee, plus free downloads

?	Incompetech, is another
source for royalty free music

?	Royalty Free Downloads, charges
a small fee for audio collections

?	Public Domain, offers a variety of
free audio files that are royalty free

?	Flash Kit, is a good
source for sound effects

?	As is Stonewahed,

?	And A1 Sound Effects,

?	Also try the Absolute Sound Effects Library,

Good luck and have fun!

I am VERY HAPPY with my results. I had two questions that I was going
to ask one regarding content and the other one regarding copyright
laws. I figured I'd ask the first question and see what sort of
results I got before proposing the second question. One of the links
the researcher found had a link leading to several other links
concerning intellectual property and multimedia. So I got my second
question answered for free. The key words are also allowing me to
continue the research on my own. Thanks very much. This is money well

In addition to Kriswrite's very thorough and well done answer, has very inexpensive and professional
images, ranging only $1-$3 each, with a huge variety. Not free, but a
large inexpensive, and royalty free image collection.
