I am doing programing for an checkout type area of my web site. I need
to know if people want one page where they enter all their data, such
as, contact info, billing options, services plan, etc. Or if people
would rather have a step by step process with the step showing at the
top of the page, like Step 1 of 7. This should be market research and
done with ease of use in mind. Also, it should try to get the people
to buy the products and not discourage the users.

I have decided that if this question could not be answered within a
day then it is more time than I guess it's worth, I have asked around
and I think that people much prefer one page to enter the data. Or one
page and then a confirmation page.

Thanks for the time spent on trying to answer this question.

I couldn't come across any web resources. Personally, I prefer 2
pages. The first one for contact information and orders, and the
second one a secure page for credit card information
