For F(x) = Log(x) (this is log base 10), estimate F prime of (1) by finding the average rate of change over subsequently smaller intervals around x = 1. Find F prime(x). Does this agree with your estimation? I need the answer written up for each step, thank you. |

Will Google Answers answer my homework questions? It is not always possible for Google Answers to tell when a question posted to the site is a "homework" question. In general, we recommend that you use Google Answers as a tool to assist you with your homework rather than as a substitute for you doing your homework yourself. Please note that we reserve the right to remove questions from the site for any reason, and questions that are clearly homework may be subject to deletion. |

Well that's interesting, this isn't a homework problem. It's from a quiz I took and failed. I need a detailed explantion of what I did wrong. I'm willing to walk through it, if needed. |
