Are there any search engines or or other information sources which are
more adapted than google, yahoo and the like for searching forein
websites such as germany, israel or china or others?

For Israel you can use morfix.co.il for a search engine. You can also
use the popular internet directories: walla.co.il,
start.co.il,nana.co.il, tapuz.co.il.
