Hi Ginger,
From the various websites I found with this information, the consensus
of opinion is a length of 146 miles. This converts to 234.96422
kilometres.
"For the past century, the word Broadway has conjured something
greater than just the imposing boulevard that stretches from the lower
tip of Manhattan Island 146 miles northward to the New York state
capital of Albany."
( from "Broadway: A Year on the Aisle" by Misha Berson )

"But the actual thoroughfare that is Broadway commences at the
southern tip of Manhattan and then travels for 146 miles north to New
York's capital, Albany."

Leonard Jacobs )

"Originally a trial built along a natural ridge by American Indians.
Called Heere Street (High Street) by the Dutch, it was one of two main
roads leading north from a fort at the tip of lower Manhattan and
became an important trade route linking the harbor with upstate N.Y. A
thoroughfare extending 146 miles from Bowling Green at the southern
tip of Manhattan to Albany. 17 miles in Manhattan."

"Don't be misled by a 'Broadway' address. It is one of the longest
'streets' in America and stretches 146 miles from the southern tip of
Manhattan to upstate Albany."

Lonely Planet says it is 150 miles, but they are the only source that
has this figure:
"Broadway, the only avenue to cut diagonally across the island, was
originally a woodland path; it runs in some form from the southern tip
of the island all the way to the state capital of Albany, 150 miles
(240km) away."
