Which language do you plan to program in? Which printer are you using?
Plug 'n' play? or otherwise?

I plan to use VB or VFP to write the program.

What I really want to do is clean out print jobs of size = 0 that our
DOS app is leaving in our print queues. They stack up and prevent real
print jobs from being processed. I want to schedule a program to look
for these size=0 jobs every x minutes and delete them.
