In Excel 2003 on Windows XP - I want to be able to open Excel
Workbooks in seperate instances of Excel (rather than them all opening
in one instance).

The trick is don't double click the worksheet you want to open.. that
will automatically open it in the existing instance. If you open excel
from the program icon it will start a new instance, then you can use
file.. open to open a worksheet.

Are you sure you want to open multiple instances? Or are you looking
to see each workbook in the taskbar? If you just want to see each
workbook in the taskbar, go to Tools-->Options, View tab and tick
"Windows in taskbar".
