My name is Eric Wylie.. I am from Los Angeles Ca. My grandmother was
a piano teacher and passed away in 1998 at the age of 96 yrs. old. My
whole life I watched her play this amazing antique baby grand piano as
well as learned to play on it myself along with my father and
family...

When my grandmother passed she gave me this beautiful hand carved
antique piano dating back to around the time of 1928-1936. I was told
by my father & mother that it was Mary Pickford's personal piano, (the
silent movie actress from the early 20's.) I was told that my
grandmother had purchased it at Mary Pickford's estate auction date
unknown.

If anyone has any pictures of Mary Pickford with the piano, I would
really love to see them, or any information that will allow me to
confirm it's authenticity.

Thank you,

Eric Wylie

Eric,
Very interesting, but your question will probably be removed because
it includes your email address.

Due to the slow down in recognition of postings (no email
notifications), I have copied eawylie-ga's very pertinent comment:

Hey this is Eric again. I have taken some photos of my grandmothers
piano. I would love to post them. Although, I am currently searching
for my adaptor cord to upload the photos. Can I post them here on this
site?
