I'm fashion merchandise management major.  I have to find out the
difference between a Merchandiser and a Planner who work in the
Fashion industry in their job functions and/or daily routines. That
means I ahve to define a Merchandiser and a Planner Also, I have to
distinguish their positions in a company(like a department store,
Macy's, Bloomingdale).
For example, I have to answer how a planner supports a merchandiser. 
I think the website of WWD (Womenswear Daily) is a source.  But I
can't find the exact answer.  By the way, I have to know the answer
and related soruces and/or links of websites.
