This is a very well-organized and high-quality response, but not too overwhelming either in terms of information. The sites are very easy to use and great for kids! I just couldn't find them -- how much time did it take you to find these? My son will enjoy this a lot -- here is a your tip, as promised for a great answer. |

scholastic has two direct-to-home book clubs for kids ages 8-12 who are interested in magic. each month, a kit of magic tricks and gadgets will come to your home, accompanied by a book with step-by-step directions for performing the tricks. one club, "magic university," is online at http://www.scholastic.com/magic/ the other club, "the ultimate magic club," doesn't have a web site, but you can join by calling customer service at 1-800-411-6706. this second club has been created with an emphasis on simple, easy, "push-button" magic that's amazing and impressive but doesn't require a lot of skill or practice on the child's part. this second club also comes with a DVD showing other kids performing the tricks in each book. |
