Hello kimb, The material on the University of Hyderabad's website suggests that the university is willing to hire foreigners. One document provides for payment of "U.S. $10/- for candidates applying from abroad" who "wish to pay the amount in foreign currency" for the application form for faculty positions. Also, the list of qualifications for lecturers allows for "the equivalent degree from a foreign University." "Employment Notification No. UH/P-1/Rectt.2005 dt.14-5-2005" [scroll down to Notes 2.0 and 4.13] University of Hyderabad http://www.uohyd.ernet.in/vacancy/index.htm The application form itself has a space for "Nationality," which implies that persons of different nationalities are expected to apply. "Online Application Form" University of Hyderabad http://202.131.159.42/uoh/application.html You might wish to contact the telephone number at the top of these documents if you need further information about applications by foreigners. - justaskscott Search strategy -- Searched on Google for: University of Hyderabad (Central) Browsed University of Hyderabad website. |
