looking for the code to put into the Address bar (URL) to see when the
last time a page was update. It will pop up javascript and tell me
when it last was updates. I can use it on any URL on the Internet. I
had this code and misplaced it somewhere and now I can't find it.

hansk...

The code is:

javascript:alert(document.lastModified)

Rather than typing or copying the code into the address bar,
you can create a bookmark in every browser you have that uses
javascript, that will automate the process for you.

Simply create a bookmark for any site, like Google, and save
it where you want to be able to access this DateLastModified
shortcut.

Then right-click on that Google bookmark and, on the Web
Document tab, copy and paste the code above. Then go to the
General tab and rename it DateLastModified, or whatever you'd
like to call it.

You now have a shortcut to this script, and can click on it
from any current page in any browser in which you've placed
the bookmark, and it will work just great!

sublime1-ga, I did it the way you said it and it works great! The only
thing is there is now a Google Image right next to the
(document.lastModified) bookmark!
