I would like to find some low cost E-Marked 12v Pcs to be used in vehicles.

The PC is to be 12v - and be at least a Pentium M 1.8GHz. It will be
mounted in the boot / trunk. The PC needs to have 3 or 4 A/D
converters for video to grab 4 input signals at 25fps - or have a slot
for a Matrox or Eurosys frame grabber.

I know about the UK company Microbus - but their PC costs £2000-£3000.

Background:
"For more than 30 years, the automotive industry has been accustomed to
the e-mark and type approval of motor vehicles sold into the European
Union. Since October 1, 2002, however, manufacturers of aftermarket
electronic products intended for use in vehicles were also required to
obtain formal type approval for these products prior to placing them
on the market. All such products are required to carry an e-mark and
to comply with European vehicle legislation in order to be legally
fitted inside a vehicle."

If I add a Matrox card to an E Marked PC - I assume the e mark is
invalidated. I also assume it is hard to get a new unit e marked and
expensive.
E Marking is required for Europe - what about the USA?
