Hi - can anyone find Aeschylus' "The Oresteia" (which consists of the plays Agamemnon, The Libation Bearers and The Eumenides) on audio cassette (preferably) or audio cd (second choice)? A good answer will give me a link to where I can buy it online. Thanks |

I don't think that you will be able to find an audio cassette or CD available commercially. There is however a version available on VHS or DVD of a performance by the National Theatre of Great Britain, directed and produced by Sir Peter Hall. It is a limited release and consequently very expensive to purchase online. Copies are available from Films Media Group at US$240.95: http://www.films.com/title/32310 Alternatively, if you have access to a university library, they may have a copy that you can borrow. |

thanks for the info, nproctor - I was hoping for an audio copy so I could listen along with reading the text, but I guess it's not to be. |
